Insights Into Resume Grabbing Software - Does anyone physically look at your resume prior to intervi

I am going to take you through the steps of finding candidates via Resume Grabbing Software

Below we have a snapshot of the ResumeGrabber, a very popular software within the recruiting industry. I have selected the Preferred Location and have moved onto the "Hot Keywords" section within the Preferences region located on the left of the screenshot. If we take a look below at the screen shot we see "Resumes containing hot keywords will be marked with (red chilli) icon" directly beneath this is a list of Hot Keywords Recruiter use to trace suitable candidates.

Below: Next we are looking at the Email Template the software sends you to thankyou for your application and letting you know your resume has been accepted. So that email you got thanking you for applying, does not mean that your resume has been recieved and seen my the hiring manager.

Below: Here we have the settings for the software, notice the "Don’t warn before Delete/Never Show" is ticked, this means if your application is accepted and send to be acknowledged by the recruiter and the person they are training hits the wrong button, you will be out of the system forever. This is why I always call to ensure the resume has been received and sighted by human eyes. Also interesting to note is the Filter Criteria and the file formats which are accepted, so if your resume is not in Doc, RTF, Text, HTML or PDF your resume will not be accepted either. Note the date expiries and time, this is generally only required as a deadline, and every deadline can be extended on satisfactory terms. Generally if you ring and explain the situation why you wish to apply after the due date, and sell your skills and experience, a recruiter will see your passion and experience and either employ you or make a position for you, if you are a valuable candidate every employer wants and NEEDS valuable employees.

Below: Next aspect, the colour systems which are my favourite, they bring bright pretty colours to my day. So generally each company or business will have their own rating system. An example used here was to signify Red Tag - Great Candidate, Blue Tag - Potential Candidate, Green Tag - Possibility with additional training, Yellow Tag - Review Results Again. When everyone talks about the Employee Management Systems this concept can actually be a part of the EMS, depending on the software and programs used.

Below: This screen show us the checking for Duplicates, this is another reason to telephone and promote your recent skills and experience as there may have been an error and deleted your most current resume, this has actually happen to me once, not to mention I was totally unprepared totally stuffed that job interview that’s for sure. But if it happened to me chances are they have happened to others also.

Below: Here we have a list of the scanned folders and 4 applications who have returned position hit for the position keywords entered prior to the search.

Below: This is the display from the left mouse button, showing a list of commands, 2 in particular half way up, which with just one click forwards the resume as a candidate for the position or onto the recruiter relevant for the particular project.

So there you have it, long gone are the days where major employers sat down over lunch and read through resume after resume, or when unlce john could fling a resume to the neighbour and start work the next day, in most cases today many interviews are based on software feedback rather than the sighting of each and every resume application.

Companies and employers find that the Benefits of Using Resume Manager is that the Software Makes Your Job Easier, Always Find the Right Job Candidates, Increased Resume Processing Efficiency and Productivity, Every Recruiter Can Access Every Applicant, Resume Manager is Environmentally Friendly, and Resume Manager Weeds Out Undesirables as mentioned on the Sarm Software website, who is another manufacturer of Resume Management Systems.
