It's only a call away..

The most effective way to find vacant positions and engage employers is via reverse marketing, this plays a huge part in achieving success and results can be mind blowing.

On meeting one particular client, I immediately sensed he was under the influence, things looked bleak for this energetic individual, who wasn't shy of speaking up and expressing his opinions, however when it comes to telephoning and speaking to someone he become a ball of nerves and crumbled at the concept. I was able to work vigorously with him over a series of 2 months and assisted him in overcoming his barriers, which included mental health, drug dependency, a suspended vehicle license and homelessness.

Through the use of a personality test we were able to review his strengths, talents, thought patterns, personality, interpersonal skills and areas of development. This then enabled us to understand exactly what skills and abilities he has and this inspired him to take control and show initiative in exploring areas of interest. This resulted in the young gentleman showing an eager and enthusiastic charisma within the automotive and mechanical industry.

Being a Friday morning, I walked into my usual classroom full of clients looking for employment, I sat down at my desk and began to review the daily requirements for the session. I noticed the young gentleman across sitting at a parallel desk with the local phone book open scanning the page. To my complete shock he make contact with an employer however was advised there was no work available at present, he had done really well and I congratulated him on great work, he continued onto the next phone number and made contact with the manager using the techniques and strategies we had discussed the previous week. I looked down and went on to speak with another client, when all of a sudden, the young man was jumping around, literally doing back flips across the front of the room. To his disbelief the second call resulted in a interview for a position as a Mechanics TA, although he did not have his license, we were able to set up a direct debit account to pay for outstanding fines and enabled reinstatement of his license and a new job which has changed his situation immensely.

The reason I shared this story is because it can be as simple as a phone call, as long as you have the correct knowledge and understanding for the particular industry you are seeking employment, relating to the application process and the abilities to make contact the correct person.
